6 Tips for Choosing Anti Allergy Bedding and Breathing Easier

Take steps to reduce humidity Most allergens tend to thrive in areas with high humidity, so getting a stand-alone dehumidifier will go a long way towards making the air unwelcoming for dust mites and such. Try to maintain a relative humidity of 35-50% and make sure to clean your dehumidifier tray regularly in order to prevent mold from appearing.

5. Keep pets away from your sleeping area It’s easier said than done, but animals shouldn’t come into contact with your bed. No matter how clean they may be, their fur can be a source of numerous allergens that will eventually take their toll on your health. So next time Fido or Felix try to hop onto your mattress, gently usher them to another part of the house.

6. Declutter and clean your bedroom There’s just no substitute for plain cleanliness. By keeping your bedroom neat and tidy and removing unneeded objects such as stuffed animals or extra pillows, you’ll reduce the number of places for allergens to collect. For best results, be sure to vacuum thoroughly and wipe the dust off every surface.
