There are many of us that want to quit smoking. To wake up one morning and not crave that bitter-sweet taste of darkness. But I’ve come to notice that that everyone who smokes has a problem. An emotional problem they’ve buried somewhere deep inside. Something that’s holding them back from being free. Free from harming themselves. Yet none of us believe in ourselves like we should. We feel as though too many people and too many things have put us down, that we can’t break free of our own chains.
We need to be able to break free and conquer our demons. Take all that pain away and learn how to heal ourselves. Deep down inside we all know where that spot is. It’s hidden at the bottom of your soul and you have to work extremely hard to bring it to the surface. But once you get it to the surface, let it shine bright and hold it tight. Never let go of your will power for it can make you achieve many great things. Be the person you want to be, not the person it has wilted you into.
I know how hard it is to quit smoking; I’m trying to do it myself. And after many failed attempts and close calls, well, I’m still here fighting it with you. Even as I’m writing this I crave that sweet addiction. But I won’t do it, not now. Because patience is key; your craving will eventually disperse and you will start to heal yourself. Little by little you start to build the pieces back together; you start from the bottom and work your way up. Just like anything else you have to start from the bottom and create your own world.
You were given this challenge for a reason, to fight it and to break it. To overcome the obstacles placed before you and to face the unknown. Fear is a major cause of failure. If you are scared of failure you will always fail. Don’t give up on yourself and don’t give up on what you need to be.
Smoking is controlling you’re life. Do you let other people control you? Do you like it when someone thinks they’re better than you? The answer is no, no one likes to feel like less of a person. So why do you let a substance control you? A substance is nothing. Smoking seems to be a simple “fix” for every problem you have. If you’re upset, you have a smoke. If you’re mad, angry, happy, or sad; or when something just doesn’t feel right, you have a smoke. You’re causing yourself more problems in the end.
You can end this! You just need to be as one and work through this together. You can accomplish anything you want if you just try. Believe in yourself and never give up. We all have it in us to quit smoking we just have to find the right opportunity and be patient with ourselves. We need to know our bodies and feel the security of our own mind. Your mind is a very powerful thing. It controls who we were, who we are, and who we want to be. And as long as you believe in yourself, you can finally quit the challenge and move on with your life.
